How to call out 4 dp information in 3dp drawing template?

    Marco Wu

When I use a dowel pin, I will make the hole (a circle with extrude cut) to be 4dp and positions of the hole to be +/- 0.001.

However, my drafter does not know whether it is a dowel pin hole. How I can change my model to make the information display on the drawing automatically?

The default of the template is 3dp

      Thanks

If the drafter inserts model items to create the dimensions then you can just add the decimal place and tolerance information to the dimension in the model. Then when the model items are inserted it will use the same tolerance info. Even if the drafter does not use insert model items to add dimensions you can still use the same method to communicate the tolerance info to anyone looking at the model, although they would have to know to look at the model dimensions.
