How to make transparency limited into the selected feature itself, instead of see through attached surfaces

As you can see, there are 3 features in this example parts. I made one of them (the right one) transparent. However, the faces of another two features which are attached to this transparent feature also became transparent.. it looks very weird. Is there a way to make it like real world glasses.. that you can see through from the right "glass" cube but NOT the surface of another two cubes attached to it?
