I'm looking for a macro to export flat pattern of virtual sheet metal parts to dxf format files.

I've searched and tested several macros in this forum, but none of them work for virtual files.

One of tested macros is this one :Re: Macro- for saving dxf flat patterns with configuration names.dxf

here's my situation:

I have an assembly which contains several virtual sheet metal parts. I right click one of the virtual parts and select Open icon to open the part in a new window. Now when I run the macro nothing happens.

Most of macros written to export flat pattern as dxf files, read current filePath and export flat pattern to the same directory.

For virtual parts, filepath is %temp% folder and I assume there should be some restrictions for read/write to this folder.

I edited the macro to export the dxf file to Desktop, but still same result.

Any kind of advice/help is much appreciated.
