I have built a 2 cavity mold using mold tools to create the cavity , core and slides. I need to build a mold around this using hasco or dme products. I'm new to mold design so what's my next step? Any help really appreciated .
Schneal,
I usually build from the part out, add runners, insert into cavity blocks, add slides movements as required, then add mold base and components.
I don't use any Hasco bases just a few components they should have a web site although I don't have it.
DME has all mold bases and components downloadable, at www.dme.net/resources/cad-data
I also use Progressive, http://www.procomps.com/Products/Default.aspx, just select the component and download.
and PCS, http://www.pcs-company.com/resources/cad-file-library, their mold base files can be downloaded as associative SolidWorks files.
Hope this helps.
