this comes up a lot, i always recommend this:
1. linear analysis with an equivalent static load to your dynamic load
2. linear dynamic analysis, time history
3. nonlinear dynamic
nonlinear dynamic is the correct simulation, but it takes some skill to get setup and running

If I were to run a nonlinear dynamic would I just "fix" the part of the mask where one's head would be and apply a load, such as a paintball, as a second component?
