I got this error after the edge I used to set the pattern direction wasn't found. But there's no option to select a body for the feature scope! In fact, as you can see, this is a single body part at this point in the feature tree. I've ran into this issue before and just delete then recreate the feature, but I don't want to have to repair all the features downstream.
