I'm working a a simulation for a final project and it takes quite a while to run. I am not real familiar with cloud computing or how exactly it works but I have architecture friends that are able to use another company's software to render some of their work. I was wondering if it was possible or if anyone knew of anywhere a Solidworks Simulation could run using resources from somewhere else. My computer only has 4GB of RAM and it will urn the simulation but take 30+ minutes. Any help or information would be greatly appreciated.
Wherever you run a simulation you would need a valid license. I'm just guessing but it sounds like you are using some sort of student edition? In any case, someone would have to pay for a license. I am not familiar if SW can even run in a cloud environment - that would be a good question for a VAR or to the SW main page.
