How can I display revision from drawing (from the rev block) in my model?
If you are referring to this rev block in your part file, see image.
To this window, see image when you rmc the revision text on the drawing and choose "edit text in window".
I should've been more clear. When I right click the on revision table and click "Revision" then "Add Revision" the table inserts a new row with the next letter. In turn it updates the revision letter on the bottom left of the drawing and the revision letter in the "Summary Information" of the drawing. Is there a way to link either of these 3 places the revision is stored to the "Summary Information/Custom/Value / Text Expression" in the model file? This way the revision is stored on the 3D just incase it gets detached from the drawing we would then know what revision the model is.
NO, you can drive from revision from Part to Drawing but not vice versa. Although this could be achieved with a macro but that has to be used every time you change revision on drawing.
As has been indicated by others, it could be problematic even if it was possible. The drawing is "driven" by the model, not vice versa. This is partly because the drawing may likely have extra info which is not normally part of the model (i.e. - explanatory notes, etc).
What you are looking for could be accomplished by using "MBD" - Model Based Definition. This is an extra-cost SW addin which allows placing all part/assy specs in model views without the need for drawings. This is based on various industrial specs.
