I've come across what I thought was a pretty straight forward issue. I'm attempting to take a single file from one directory, and replace all known instances of the same file in multiple directories. I attempted to use the cmd replace /s command in windows with no luck. Here's the code I used:
replace O:\Engineering\AXIS Solidworks Library\AXIS Parts\Parts\100-834.sldprt O:\Project Files /S
In the screen shot I've attached, you'll notice I have done a windows search for the file. The highlighted file in the window is in an isolated directory. All the other files are in various locations. I want to replace all of those files with the updated single file. Does anyone know how I can do this? Is there a way to do multiple files at once? Also, this is on a network drive and we do not have a PDM software.
Thanks for the help!
