I am looking at NAS for a file storage solution. They are currently using an Ubuntu network share for opening, editing and saving SW files. I would like to be able to have a hot swapable drive solution and a fast solution so there is not a lot of waiting for file transfers. The top three users could be behind a 1Gb switch with the file server.

In that past there have been some outstanding recommendation from Charles Culp and Anna Wood on hardware for running Solidworks. Are there recommendations for file server/storage?
