Hi All,

I am struggling to import an igs file from Maxsurf. I have always had no problems with this before (with more complex files) however this really simple model of a rudder has got me stuck.

The maxsurf model is two surfaces, and it is the board tip that is not opening in solidworks (you can see the main parallel section of the board, but not the curved tip)

I have tried passing this through rhino (which I usually use) and although the surface is ok in rhino it does not matter what I do with it to export in solidworks it is not recognized.

I have tried all sorts of different paths and options and cannot figure out why the board tip is not working.

Any help would me much appreciated.
