Hello guys I have a part that is going to be injection molded and I need to do some updates to it the only problem is my that I should have waited to put in is being a parent to other features. I have a groove feature that is a parent to a lot of other features and some how my groove is a child to the fillet. I even went in and edited the face to show where the direction of the grove is to be on a face that did not have that filled and the fillet is still a parent over that feature. So I am wondering if there is way to delete the fillet without deleting the children or a fast way to arrange the properties so that the filled is no longer a parent to those features. I went to solidworks help and tried right clicking the fillet to delete it and choosing what I want to be deleted with the fillet and that did not work it still deleted the everything that is a child to the fillet. So I am wondering if there is a faster way to delete the fillet without any of its children being deleted as well or if I have to go back and redesign all the features that are linked to that filled.
Thanks for your suggestions and responses.
