I have a problem that is driving me insane.

Sometimes the bitmap icon will show up correctly in windows explorer and sometimes I only get the generic icon for the part, assembly or drawing.

If the bitmap fails sometimes I can open the file, rebuild and resave but it will usually loose the bitmap again later so this is a frustrating cycle I have to keep repeating to keep the bitmaps showing up. I have verified that the option to display this in SWX is set and I have the explorer display set to large icons.

See attached screen capture that shows one of the assembly icons missing. This is also random if I start working on other files they will usually at some point lose the bitmap and I have to go back and open, rebuild and save but I have had a few cases where this didn't even work.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Is there a fix for this and please tell me there is?

Also I have verified that all of my drivers are up to date.

Below are my system specifications

Dell Precision Tower 5810

SolidWorks Premium 2015 SP 1.1

Microsoft Windows 7 Professional (64-bit)

Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-1630 v3 @ 3.70GHz

32.00 GB of 2133 MHz Memory

SAMSUNG SSD SM841N 2.5 7mm 256GB (Boot drive where all of my programs including Solidworks)

TOSHIBA DT01ACA100 1tb Hard Drive (this is the drive that my Solidworks files are saved to)

NVIDIA Quadro K2200 4gb Video Card

Thanks

Tony
