can you modify weldments created out of toolbox? When I want to add a chamfer on that part, I get a restriction because they're all "only reading" parts. Do I have to replace them then with a normal weldment profile? And if so, is there somewhere a zip file for each profile group, otherwise I have to download +100 library parts from 3DCC.

When you save the files int he appropriate/required location then close the file and go to the file location. Right click on file and select properties. Finally remove the read only property. Click OK and re open in SW to modify further.
