No one else has this question
I was using the Solid material and still happens however i left the inside of the shell as i didn't give it an appearance. When I changed the material inside (as i said i left and didn't give it an appearance) so when i gave it an appearance it got rid of some of the glitch, but there is still some left.
I was going to try the your last suggestion about the refraction as i thought it would work but i have Solid works 2012 and in the Render Options > Render Quality it doesn't have "Custom render settings" with number of reflections etc is there another place i could find this ???
Much appreciated for your reply

Looks like you are using a transparent material? with a different material inside it?
If so you may need to offset the inner body away from the outer body (0.2mm)
and/ or Adjust the number of Reflection &/or Refractions
Render Options> Select Custom Render Settings>Adjust number of Reflection &/or Refractions (0)
