Can someone please tell me if it is possible to import this step file to
Solidworks as an assembly with separated parts and with features recognized?
You can import into SolidWorks as an assembly with individual part files.
If it doesn't come as an assembly, change your import settings in the open dialogue box under "Options"
You can do a feature recognition once you finished importing. It may give all features recognized, depends on the complexity of the part.
Thank you very much.
As John mentioned the files can be opened as individual parts. I would not expect great success at recognizing the features. Even if they can be translated by "feature works", they may lose the design intent of the original parts. That being said, there are some good tools available in SW for modifying imported parts.
Thanks! I managed to import and recognize most parts' features but I will have to remodel them anyway.
Jeff, as you said, all the parts have lost their design intent and I need to create drawings from this.
Thank you all for your quick answers.

Yes it can be imported, but the parts have loads of gaps & faces which would need to be healed (no small task) before even thinking about recognizing features.
And looking at some of the shapes involved, I wouldn't expect too much from that process.
