What full version of Visual Basic would be best to purchase? I asked a couple of people at the last SolidWorks World, and they said Visual Basic .NET. Our IT department says VB .NET is part of Visual Studio 2005 Pro, which cost $704. I do most of my VB work with VBA in SolidWorks, but I would like to start getting into doing Addins and stand alone programs.

Any suggestions/comments welcome.
