Hi SolidWorks Forum
My problem, as far as symptoms go, is that whenever I try to make an animation of my exploded view using PhotoView 360 (SolidWorks 2014 SP5 Student Edition), only one frame gets rendered. The problem is only related to PhotoView, as I get satisfying results using the normal renderer, see: http://grelckgrafik.dk/images/Comp-1_1.gif
E.g. when saving as .avi I get a 0.04s long film consisting of one frame and when saving as .bmp images I get one frame ("*-0000.bmp").
While rendering the first frame it says that it renders frame "0 of 0", which makes no sense to me.
I've tried restarting both SW and my machine multiple times to no avail.
My machine is spec'ed as follows:
Motherboard: MSI X99s SLI PLUS
CPU: Intel i7 Haswell 5820K
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 760 OC Windforce
Ram: 16 GB DDR4
I've attached the file I'm trying to render (assembly file named "minifig").
Could somebody please try to render this on their machine, just to rule some things out (E.g if the issue is related to SW version, file, machine, OS etc.).
Thanks in advance.
Kind regards
Mathias
The behavior you're getting is correct as there is nothing in motion study to render. Click on motion tab next to model tab.
Use animation wizard to create an animation which you can then render using PV360 as the renderer.
Once you add/create the animation, there would be keys.
Also I'm assuming that you're saving the avi via animation controller and that is via you're getting satisfying results.
