How do I get the angle of a circular pattern into a design table?
Have you tried double clicking the pattern in the design tree ? You should see the angle and count dim. on the model. If you click on those you can add them in to your table.
Thanks, I totally forgot about double clicking in the tree but this only gives me the option to "S" or "U". I was hoping to get the angle from the design table into the circular pattern. I'm basically using a sketch driven method to get the circular length along with the angle, I'm working with old school drawings and data to get this to work. It's so simple I was positive I could make it work, just another kick to the groin.
Here is an image of what I was talking about.
It's behaving like I need to create a pattern for each configuration, I was thinking I could control the hole pattern with the design table. so if I have 100 configurations I need 100 different hole patterns. that sucks!
You can control the hole pattern with DT.
thanks for your help, I really appreciate it, I'm just frustrated beyond being any good at this point. I'm having a hell of a time just working with this web site. lets just say no two computers run the same here and you're lucky if you can print on any given day. it's a good thing we pay for the latest and greatest SW but we just upgraded from window xp to windows 7 and we're still using sw2012!!!!!!!! WTF! thanks again and I'm sorry for wasting your time.

No, you don't need a separate pattern for each configuration. You can control the dimension from a single pattern in each configuration, as Ingvar's screenshot shows.
As has been said create a design table, I use auto create which adds certain dimensions.
I then click on any other dimensions I want to add to the table.
Then just select the different types of table to view.
