When I create a bom in a view I make it so it highlights the item when the mouse moves over the line item in the bom. Very nice but is there a way to tag an event to the highligted line item in the bom. If someone moves there mouse curser over the bom line item I want to make it so they could click on that item and make an event acure. Is it possible?
Derek's link is a great place to start. Beyond that, what type of event are you wanting to trigger with a mouse click on a BOM line?
The SVG's that composer puts out are actually very nicely organized with element ID's. The BOM entries usually have an element ID something like <g id="Line 7">. BOM lines, balloons, hotspots, and actors are all given unique ID's within the SVG. Leveraging that you can apply certain user interactions to select "types" of elements in the SVG. Knowing that all BOM elements within the SVG file begin with the ID "Line....", you could create an "onclick" event that applied only to those elements. Assuming you may have more than just one SVG file in your project, by setting up a selector based on just the begining of the ID ("Line....") you would be able to apply it to all subsequent SVG's with very little tweaking of the stock SVG's that composer kicks out.

You can add a link to the highlighted items in the output SVG within SW Composer before creating the SVG file. Simply select one or more of the components in the scene and specify the URL in that component's Event property. This URL will be stored with the SVG file once it is created.
