Does anybody know how to bend the triangle loo alike edges outward align with Horizontal on this part?
Not in SolidWorks, - this is a roll forming operation, similar to stamping operations, there is additional material movement and stretching going on then what SW is designed for.
oh ok. So it means there is nothing much I can do!!
Under loft3 modify sketch3. Increase diameter to outside.
I was hoping to show it as a different configuration
I would start it as a Revolved Sketch and and a Configuration for each.
That is what I am trying to do now. Can you take a look at it and tell me what the problem is. If you go to configuration and choose installed you will see that have the edges in both position but as soon as I want to suppress loft 3, revolve9 automatically suppresses too. I only want to keep the 90 degree bent edges in installed configuration. Any suggestion?
There would not be a Loft in a Revolved Sketch. In the Revolved Sketch manner I am suggesting there would be only one feature in your tree.
Try using the Swept Flange tool. However, that tool is somewhat crippled because added features (holes, notches, etc) do not show up in the flat pattern.
You will be forced to cheat by adding those features in the flat pattern config.
