I have a HUL. The company that I work for upgraded to SW2015. How can I upgrade my solid works at home?
Contact your VAR and they should be able to help you out.
Thanx, I'm going to give it a try.
If you have the HUL still on your machine you should be able to check your serial number. If you registered your product on the customer portal you can login and download the new SW15 and upgrade your version or add another install.
To be more specific, If you go into the Help menu in SW and click About SolidWorks you get your serial. You may have to register your product, do so by puting in that serial on the Register My products are in the customer portal. You will have to go back into the portal after and go to my downloads for the latest version of SW15. Make sure you have an internet connection when you do the install. You might have to de-activiate the lic on your SW14 version before you can use the SW15 version if you are not doing a simple upgrade. You can re-activiate the lic once you open SW15.
How can I check my serial number?
I registered what I think is my serial number in the customer portal, but still do not have access to downloads.
Found it. Solid Works Installation Manager. Should have started there in the first place. Thanx for you help.
