Yes, you can do this. Instead of adding a force, you add a fixture with a prescribed displacement. Run the simulation and then use "list result force" -> "Reaction force" on the prescribed displacement fixture to get the required force (RMB on result folder for the submenu). See an example below on a 30x10x300 steel beam with 3 mm displacement. Result force 1569N:
