How to rotate an assembly about an user defined axis while keeping the assembly in isometric view?

The company I work for wants to use the Solidworks files I have to make a couple promotional videos. They want to be able to keep the assembly in the isometric view but rotate the entire assembly about a user defined axis. We make furniture so they do not want the furniture floating in space. They want the furniture to appear as if it is sitting on the floor and rotate like its on a turntable.

I am using SolidWorks 2015 Pro SP1.1 and have not done any animations in 8 years when I was using an educational version of SolidWorks 2004 so please bear with me if I seem a little slow. I was trying to add a motor to the axis I created but it does not work. And the animation wizard only lets me rotate about the X, Y, or Z axis. So how do I go about doing what they want?
