At first, I received a bogus error message that said something along the lines of "Cannot install on a Windows Vista operating system. HELLO! See the title above. Long story short, I found the fix for that glitch on the web (not Solidworks) and proceeded from there. Now I get a new error that is equally bogus "Cannot install on a Windows 7 SP 0 (zero) operating system. HELLO AGAIN. This is a Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (one)! In FRENCH that's UN! The Solidworks support center does not respond to online support questions. The don't have any telephone support. Even their sale rep does not pick up when I call. Did Solidworks just close up shop after I purchased this software? I won't begin to rag on the convoluted run-around web pages devoted to software non-support. It's less user-friendly than the software. So! Does anyone in the world know how I can install this software on my Windows 7 SP 1 machine? I'd hate to have to think that I paid $150.00 for a T-shirt and lousy poster and that they came with three CD's with which I could make a mobile.
