Hi All. I've been fighting this issue for a while now and still haven't figured it out. I've gone through my VAR and no luck yet, so I thought I'd just throw this out and see if anyone had seen anything like this. The issue is as follows: I open any assembly and then go to open a part in that assembly. Whether I make a change or not, when I go to close the part, SW fully crashes. It's not every single time, but happens A LOT. I've tried a full pack-and-go of the assembly to my hard disk drive (actually an SSD), and I could not get the crash to occur, so it seems to be related to files on network drives. This is on SW 2014 SP 2.0 on a HP Z420 workstation. I'm not currently able to upgrade service packs because our corporate IT packages the installers for us and SP2.0 is the newest one out.
