I'm trying to use the new for 2015 dynamic connector tool "Dynamic connector without pin symbol" and the symbol it generates is too wide/too big. How can I change the scale of this auto-generated symbol?
Here is a screenshot of what I am getting by default/auto generated. And on the right of that is the much smaller 9POS symbol at .125 scale that I manually created that is an example of what I would like the auto-generated dynamic symbol to look like/be scaled like.
is there a way to do this? I haven't seen anything within SWE that lets you control the scale or behavior of the dynamic connector tool symbol....
In 2014, if you click on the project tab, then click the down arrow under configurations, click on PLC drawing, click one of the files, and go to properties, it allows you to modify a bunch of dimensions. I'd guess 2015 has the same thing for connectors, but haven't installed it on my computer yet.
Now if only I could figure out how to have the pin numbers that I'm choosing show up in the order I want...
I have a 66 POS plug and I'm only using 9, random pins. And I want them to show up in my plug, from top to bottom, as pin 23, 31, 22, 24, 33, 32, 42, 50, 41.
Unfortunately, I choose just those pins in the dynamic connector tool and it automatically inserts them in numeric order (as much as it can) from top to bottom, not in the order I need.
Any idea how to correct this?
Hi Phil,
When you are in the dynamic insertion dialog you can change the order under the Select Circuits to draw with the Blue up and down arrows.
If you have already inserted the connector then you can do drag and drop of the circuits in the Components Properties. In the dialogbox nothing will changed but in your drawing it's updated after closing the dialogbox.

Gerald
