I am looking to do a motion analysis on a moving load of 25 lbs. If anyone can post a video on how to setup such a study it would be appreciated.
The scenario is this. Using a linear drive with a motor that has a peak 1.57 N-m (223 oz-in) and 75 Volts input, I would like to calculate moment inertia at 100 rpm, or over a range of
different speeds, and maybe ramping up and ramping down.
have you looked at youtube and the tutorial? that should be a good start
but overall i don't really understand your problem definition
what do you mean by "calculate the moment of inertia"? this is an output from the mass properties
as for the analysis if you have a shaft on it, apply a rotational motor to it at the speed that you want and measure the power required to rotate it
