Any way to run Copy Settings Wizard from command line/remotely?

Getting ready to deploy an Service Pack Update via an administrative image.

The problem it that doing so destroys user customized settings (hotkeys, etc).  And because the update is "automatic", most users don't remember to use the Copy Settings Wizard to snag their custom settings prior to deployment.

If there were command line options, I could try to script something using Group Policy...

Anybody considered this, done this before, or want to do this?
