until then, what happens when you isolate the component, make drawing from part, alt-tab back to part, save as DXF?
Thanks for response!
It works only ONE time for one part -> like this:
open part file -> isolate component -> make drawing-> go back to compnent -> saves as .dxf. ,until this all works ok, but then
-> exit isolate -> isolate other component -> make drawing -> NOTHING!
-> save as .dxf -> NOTHING!
-> And again I have to reopen the whole file to make a drawing and .dxf file every time for each part/component .
Solidworks 2015 with latest service pack is just TERRIBLE and annoying, plus it has some graphical issues with windows title bar buttons in Solidworks!!! Never had these problems with older versions of Solidworks!
To developers: FIX IT!!!
* MSI GE70 2PE Apache Pro
* Nvidia GTX860M 2GB GDDR5
* Intel i7-4710HQ (6 MB Cache, 2.5 GHz)
* Intel HM87 Express chipset
* RAM: 16 GB DDR3 - 1600 MHz
* HDD: 1TB
* SSD: 128GB
* OS: Windows 8.1 64 bit
if you were to RMB click on the part from the cutlist this will give you the option to "insert into new part"
this feature will allow you to give your drawing/dxf a unique identity whilst still keeping the part and drawing in context with main assembly.
Just my work around.
I know this option, but the thing is that this makes another file for every part. And I don't need that.
But anyway, thanks!
Is there any possible way to contact the developers or to inform about the problem with Solidworks?
they way to get issues to the SW development team is through your VAR
