    How to centre a line?

    Philip Antoniou

I've used Solidworks a good few times but now I'd like to go back to basics and check I'm using the correct base methods.

Here I have a 3D line. I want the centre of the line to be coincident with the origin. The method I've been using is to place a point on the line and relate it to the line using the midpoint relation. I then make the point coincident with the origin.

Problem with this method is I end up with sketches full of "points". Wondering if there's a simpler or more graceful method?
