The Have 5 Comments Liked mission does not appear to be updating.
It appears that the Enhancement voting point missions are not either.
This seems to be working for some people, but not for others.
Was it something I said?
I've also just discovered that points are not being awarded for marking a question as correct ... well not for me anyway.
Now I'm not feeling the love.
It works for me Kelvin!
You are too rich in points hence the "50 points for correct answer" are deducted as tax.
I looked at those badges and I thought they were for 'your first' such and such. This was to encourage forum use and a friendly spirit of competition. Oh, and also to do a lot of support work for SW too! LOL!
It's the way you comb your hair, lol
Call me Mr. Negative, but who cares? Points are meaningless.
As meaningless as your username and avatar?
This function is still not working for me. It's been stuck at 20% for months now, now matter how many likes I receive.
And if the Likes are mainly from other men, I imagine she might be somewhat worried.
Same with me.
I have had a lot of Likes on some of my comments and had the same number of points for a month or two.
Rick ... You getting likes???
You should be getting an award SolidWorks "Expired Subscriptions" will be switching to a “full backdating” format 1/1/16
Some of these were changed a few months ago when people complained that it was way too easy to get points.
There are now only a few items that are repeatable where there used to be several.
But I think the number of likes and correct answers are still repeatable.
Don't know if the correct answers will correctly apply points since I haven't gotten any "Correct Answer" from my responses.
But no credit So far - from my direct posts on that subject alone I had 45 of those "Likes".
so that should be 135 points for that one posting
Oh yeah you'll have back credits, they'll be treated the same as back taxes, you pay or else.............
"same as back taxes" ... or back subscriptions!
553 divided by 5 = 110.6
So you should have at minimum 1,659 points for that one post alone - that's a lot - might equal a free subscription for .0063793th of a year
That's if I get all the likes from all the responses for that post - don't know if that is the way it works.
But regardless, from my direct posts on that subject I had 45 of those 553 Likes.
so that should be at least 135 points for that one posting
They went from too easy to get points to almost impossible unless you are one of the few people who really know SW well and get the correct answers for many posts.
Sorry, I blinked as I was reading that so I guess i missed my free subscription period.
Maybe next time
Not sure but I think it is not 5 people liked you comment but minimum 1 person liking your 5 different comments.
Anyhow you guys are making me worried for my points now
Greg will not be able to help you. He is no longer with SolidWorks. He moved on to another company this past July.
Not sure who is the lead person for the SolidWorks forums these days.
OOPS - I just noticed that you were actually replying to Kelvin's original post when he included Greg - but you sent your message about 3 minutes after I sent a message to Greg for help so I thought that was what you were replying to - sorry - my reply was based on that message I just sent to Greg,
It was me that was trying to get Greg a message to help with the answers since he was on other related posts earlier this year and I didn't remember if it was him or someone else that was making the changes to the point system.
I tried sending him a message that we could use his help to try to understand or define the new points system, but I hit the enter key before I was done and the message sent with no body text.
But I guess you must have seen it somewhere.
Thanks for the update on Greg.
Maybe we can get someone else from DSS to reply!
