To be able to run stress analysis on an assembly, you need to have SolidWorks Premium with the Simulation add-in active.
As for materials to use, that depends on what it is you're making and what you expect it to do.

i'm designing a tent peg that screwed to the ground instead of hammerd, and i want it to be strong enough but still lightweight.
i thought about using a kind of aluminum alloy i just dont know wich one. do you have any advise?

It depends on what the manufacturing process is
Machined (probably not) 6061
Formed, maybe 5052
Extruded, maybe 6105
