Here is a screen shot of my view orientation tool. As anyone can see just by looking at the side view projections, it is not normal to the coordinate system. Is this a 2015 bug?

Hi Paul,
I don't think your view orientation is off. Notice that the triad in the lower right corner has the Z and Y axes perfectly horizontal and vertical. I think the problem is that you have nothing locking your model down in 3D space so it is able to float around. Notice that every component in the tree has a (-) next to it meaning that none of them are not fully constrained/mated relative to the global assembly space. Even if the parts are all mated to one another, they can still float around in space. You either need to have at least one component aligned to global assembly X, Y, Z and then set to "fixed" so it cannot move, or you need to add mates between one or more of the components to the assembly origin and coordinate system to lock the components down so they are not floating around in the X, Y, Z space of the assembly.
I hope this helps,
Jim
