Trying to add a Macro Menu

    Vincent Bunker
I am trying to add a macro section to the menu. After following the steps in the help menu, I can add my macro to an existing menu. I would like to create a new menu item for my macros.
Is this possible to do using "Customize" or do I need to set up a menu addin?

No and yes.  You cannot do it through Customize.  You'llneed to do it through API add-ins.  Of course, to do that, you'll need the full version of VB.NET.

Too bad it can't be done through customize. I understand why now, but it would be a cool feature all the same.
I tried VB.Net Express and it worked great until it was time to deploy the program to the masses. I ended up using Visual Studio to create an .exe
I found an API add-in template and added it to VB.NET. I think the template was from SWX API Downloads.
The template is easy enough to figure out even if you are like me and have very little VB experience.
