i get the following script error when i open SolidWorks
I Get the same one each time I launch SW 2014.
it appears to be a problem with the forums pane. for some reason the java script doesn't recognizes the searchResultsRemove as a Function object.
not sure what is causing the problem though. im not a java expert nor a solidworks expert.
has anyone addressed this problem yet!
We have see this resolve it sometimes.
Previous reports of this error have been corrected by registering vbscript.dll. To register the vbscript.dll from the C:\Windows\System32 directory, try the following:
1. Open a command prompt
2. Type regsvr32<space>
3. In Windows Explorer go into the C:\Windows\System32 directory and find the vbscript.dll (search the system for the dll if necessary)
4. Drag/drop the dll from Windows Explorer into the command prompt and hit Enter.
This should resolve the error.
unactivate Solidworksforum from add-ıns menu

Tried the above but still get this error when opening SW2015SP2.1
When ever I get this message I just click the 'yes' tab and it then launches SolidWorks ok.
It only ever happens now and again.
Mark (SolidWorks 2015 sp2.5)
yes that is correct it does the same for me but you can not run any tasks or other EPDM workflow routines that need to open SW, they just hang up at this error
Hi Robert ,
If the above suggestion doesn't help, then Check out SolidWorks Forum Add-in In Start up. It will help to solve the issue.
Thanks. That did the trick.
Folks, it seems SPR 932914 is related (open as HIGH) - we have had about 12 calls on our tech support line this morning (in the last 30 mins) so maybe an update happened overnight to exacerbate this.
It is the same at our tech Support Hotline... thanks for the SPR - saved some time to search for the issue in the knowledgebase.
In Fact SPR 932920 is the one supposedly- @SOLIDWORKSCare Twitter feed just added a post
I reset Internet Explorer settings and then problem has solved.
