I'm dimensioning a drawing.
The value is above the dimension line on most but there's one where the value is below the line.
Tried a few things.
Couldn't get it to flip to the other side.
I assume you tried deleting and re-inserting it?
I think i'm starting to understand though.
To rephrase the question.
When I make a VERTICAL dimensions in drawings, whether I make the dimension on the left or right side of the view, the value is always on the left side of the dimension line.
I would like to know how to flip the dimension value to either side of the dimension line in drawings.
Where the dimension line meets the extension line, you'll see a dot. Click it.
I saw the option to change the position of the value and place it in the middle of the line.
Also, I noticed the dot but it flips the dimension to the other side of the view.
If you look at the pic below, the 3.75" dimension is on the left side of the line. I would like it to be on the right.
instead of placing left or right ..check the image , we can change the style.
In other words... it can't be done.
Thank you anyway!
That style doesn't adhere to any standard I know of.
The following is probably the closest you'll get.
