Hi Everyone,

I am trying to create a global variable is SolidWorks and running into a bit of a problem. I am going to Tools > Equations, launching the “Equations, Global Variables, and Dimensions” dialog box, and entering "diameter" in the global variables section. Next I hit tab and enter a value of 2 in the "value/equation" section and then hit enter. The problem is the "evaluates to" section always remains 0 when it should indicate 2. I have no idea why this is and was hoping someone could shed some light on this.
