Hello,
do you have some advice on what to check to fix frequent crashes?
How to "debug" and understand where to investigate and fix it?
Is not easy to reproduce, crash can happen in many different enviroments,
we cannot reproduce the crash.
We experience frequent SW crashes on 4 different HP Z230
machine, 8GB RAM, I7 Processor NVIDIA QUADRO K600 1GB latest driver from Nvidia Site.
SolidWorks RX does not report any problem.
But on four different machines, same result.
From 5 to 10 crashes during a day,
SolidWorks crash and the modules causing the crash, reported in windows events are :
C:\Program Files\SolidWorks Corp\SolidWorks\slduiu.dll
C:\Program Files\SolidWorks Corp\SolidWorks\SLDMODU.dll
C:\Program Files\SolidWorks Corp\SolidWorks\sldgfxu.dll
C:\Program Files\SolidWorks Corp\SolidWorks\dbghelp.dll
C:\Program Files\SolidWorks Corp\SolidWorks\dcu2d61.dll
C:\Program Files\SolidWorks Corp\SolidWorks\sldapiu.dll
C:\Windows\system32\mfc100u.dll
C:\Windows\system32\MSVBVM60.DLL
Thanks in advance for any feedback.
Best Regards
Gianfranco,
This won't help but just to let you know, we use SW14 SP5 on WIN 7 SP1 64bit and find it quite stable.
The specs of our machines you can see in my profile.
You mention that you use the latest Nvidea driver. I hope you mean the latest approved Nvidea driver.

Does it occur with the same model or is it with different models?
Have you reset the register on any of the machines and checked if it still occurs?
I would, if in your shoes, certainly contact my VAR and make them earn their money.
Good luck,
Peter
