How can I get mates to act realistically? 3D Delta Printer with Magnetic Ball Joints (Image Inside)

So, I have a series of carbon fiber rods, with a magnetic cup at each end. On the rail there is a bearing each, with 2 magnetic Ball joints.

 

This is a pretty typical Delta Printer, but I want one with superior components, so I'm modeling my own. In theory,, each bearing should be able to move up and down the rail and that would change the center point's position anywhere on X, Y, and Z. The trouble is, SW is not recognizing the mates correctly.

 

It says the bearing is fully defined and cannon move, but I only have a symmetrical mate to keep it aligned on the rail, and a coincident to keep it flat on the rail's face.

 

The rods have a magnetic spherical face at each end with a coincident mate. I have set each assembly as flexible. Not sure what else I can do.
