Re: flexible subassembly is not flexible
Deepak Gupta Dec 13, 2014 1:27 AM (in response to Mine Same)Please upload all the part files and both sub-assembly.
BTW have you set the sub-assembly to flexible by right/left clicking on it, select component properties and then set flexible under solve as.

Re: flexible subassembly is not flexible
Deepak Gupta Dec 13, 2014 6:15 AM (in response to Mine Same)The files are OK this time. And your assembly is set as flexible. Please use the mates to define the position of that assembly and then you would be able to move around the parts of that body.

Mine Same Dec 13, 2014 6:34 AM (in response to Deepak Gupta)Thank you.
I mated the foot of the dummy, and the bottom of the object, and now I can move the dummy; but when I move i.e. the forearm, other parts of the body move, will you kindly suggest what to fix so that the dummy parts stay indipendent, thank you.

Re: flexible subassembly is not flexible
Deepak Gupta Dec 13, 2014 8:35 AM (in response to Mine Same)Please add more mates so that body is fixed in the position. Then you can move the body parts independently.

Re: flexible subassembly is not flexible
Mine Same Dec 13, 2014 12:06 PM (in response to Deepak Gupta)Thanks.
I wish there was a way not to mate (tie) the two components, as by adding mates it does restrict the dummy's flexibility, but I guess that is a limit.
