Can't find the right file format to import to MCOSMOS

    Collin Walker

I'm trying to export from Mcosmos to import into SolidWorks Inspection Professional and I don't see any export formats in mcosmos that solidworks wants.  It's asking for these Mcosmos formats, but all I don't have anything that is an Mcosmos format, I have several Mitutoyo formats, but no Mcosmos.

          Hi Collin,

Usually a *.txt or *.rtf file work fine.

As long as you can open those files in a text editor and be able to see / read the CMM results, it will work with SOLIDWORKS Inspection Professional.

That doesn't mean you will not have to modify the MCOSMOS default template to be able to parse the result file.

In any case, you can contact SOLIDWORKS Technical Support or your reseller for assistance,

          Kind Regards,

          Matt
