I imported a model from parasolids, I can not modify this model since it is imported. I have tried to run import diagnostics and feature reckognition and it still will not work. Is there a setting i need to know about?

That did not work. It comes up with an error of The feature failed to cut the body.
That was a joke Ryan. I have never had any luck with imported anything. I just redraw the parts.
The problem is that one computer out of our ten will allow me to cut and extrude on the part. There has to be a setting.

maybe upload your parasolid file,
using the advanced editor(top right of the reply pane),
and then attach.,(bottom right of that window),
and browse to the file and upload-
members may help to convert to a useable model

I have to work with imported files regularly these setting work best, although not perfectly.
Select the options button, bottom right, once you have selected the file to import.
These settings seem to work best for these imported files, .x_t, .step, .stp, .iges.
Theres a redraw setting. It is hard to find. It is under your right or left finger and requires a click, Good luck. lol
