I recently installed the student edition of Solidworks, which was provided for download for free by Solidworks through my University (Durham, UK).

I would like to be able to register for online services as I would like to become accredited in the software, but seem unable to register my Serial number on the website (I always seem to end up on the American website, unsure if this is the problem?). It is a 20 digit serial number, and I'm told that I need to use a 16 or 24 digit number, so this seems to be the problem, but the serial number worked fine when I installed the software.

Can anyone offer any advice? Thanks
