Why isn't the custom view showing up properly in this SW2012 Drawing?

I'm trying to make a drawing in SW2012 that for some reason isn't showing up properly.

Here's a screen shot of the camera view in solidworks.

I saved the view and opened a drawing and put the custom view into the drawing and this is what comes out

At first you'll see all the others ones flash for a split second then disappear. I reset the image quality both high and low, that didn't change anything. I've never had this problem before. it seems like it's just somehow normalizing to front view. Anytime I make an adjustment everything shows up for that split second and is gone. Could I have clicked something or pushed a shortcut key for something without realizing it?... Thanks in advance..

Make sure in teh view properties you don't have all of the missing components selected to be hidden. Also make sure there isn't another display state that might have those parts hidden and is being referenced by the drawing view. If you change the view display to shaded with edges, does it still have the problem?

ok when I switch to shaded with edges everything magically appears...

I don't know then. You said you already tried adjusting the image quality to high... did you do that in the drawing document properties? Did you try setting it to max in the red zone? Other than that all I can think of is to make sure you are using an approved graphic card and driver.

your model view appears to have perspective turned on - I do not believe that is supported in drawings.

I thought it worked if you used a saved view.

Make sure in teh view properties you don't have all of the missing components selected to be hidden.
