I work in standard but occasionally use metric when parts dictate.
I type in "60mm" for instance and it automatically converts it to inches "2.3622..."
It would be more convenient for me if it would stay as "60mm" in the dimension box.
The same would go for expressions like "1+3/64"

if you would like to change certain inch dim to fraction you can use the following option in the image:-
but if you want all dim to be inches with fraction , you can use the Options / document properties / Unites
if you want to make it default setting for your template , let e know to explain how to save template,
in the first image i attached , i used dual dimension setting to show inch dim and mm dim, if you need to setup this option:-
Select your dimension and then in the Other tab check "Override Units".
