I am new to sheetmetal so forgive me if this is an obvious question. I am stumped as to the best way to create a hem on a curved metal band (see attached). I tried two methods with no success. In method 1 I sketched the complete part profile, gave it a circular path and did a Sweep. While this did work, the flat view is not what I was expecting (i.e. a rectangle)
In method 2 I started with a plain flange and added the hems afterwards using the Sweep method. The flat view is a rectangle, but it ignored the hems.
Can someone point me in the right direction?
