At the place I've been working for the past 3 months I've been using solidworks.
The models I have to draw are all quite similiar, it's mostly small parts or measurements that are different from other models.
Eventhough there's only small differences, the models are quite big. So to ease up the work, I use previous models and alter their measurements so they fit the new model.
Now I've been noticing that if I edit a part in, let's say model 4. That same part is also editted in model 1,2 and 3.
So my question is: If I use a single part in 4 different assemblies(models), how do I make sure that if I edit this part in one of the assemblies, it won't be editted in the other assemblies.
Thanks in advance.
