SSD's for scratch (ie Virtual memory) drives anyone?

Looks like Transcend has some Solid State (flash drives) that haveIDE connections (look for them on newegg)

Was wondering if anyone has thought about using them for virtualmemory drives theoretically should be a bit faster, sucks they arnton SATA though

IIRC flash memory isn't hugely faster than a good HD. Look for some specs on transfer rates. For the cash, I'd rather load up on RAM and try a RAMdisk.
