So, you want to actually launch the main user interface spelling checker, right? Not check the spelling in one specific annotation?
You can use the RunCommand function of the main application object with the argument 535.:
swApp.RunCommand 535, "Did you spell it right?"
RunCommand is basically a handy interface that can activate most of the commands as though the button were clicked in the user interface.
